Pulchérie Imbs is a safeguarding and public protection expert with a background in law enforcement, oversight, and public service.
A former Metropolitan Police staff, a current Independent Parole Board Member and Independent Advisor to Thames Valley Police, she brings strategic insight and real-world experience to complex risk and safeguarding challenges.
As the founder of Public Protection Consultancy Ltd, Pulchérie helps organisations strengthen governance, build trust & protect the public.

From the earliest days of my career, I’ve been driven by a simple but powerful conviction: every institution, community, and organisation deserves to be safe, just, and resilient. Over time, I witnessed the critical importance of structures, policies, and human judgment in safeguarding people, especially the most vulnerable among us.
When I founded Public Protection Consultancy, I envisioned more than a consulting firm. I wanted a partner for change. My goal is to bring rigorous analysis, lived experience, and ethical clarity into every engagement, helping organisations not just to comply with rules, but to build cultures of protection, trust, and accountability.
In my work, whether advising on safeguarding frameworks, conducting risk assessments, or training staff, I aim to elevate standards, embed resilience and foster trust.
I believe that real change comes when strategy meets lived experience, when policy is informed by context, and when leadership is grounded in responsibility. I look forward to the possibility of working together, and helping your organisation become stronger, safer, and more trusted.
